Heartless Bastards on David Letterman!
Neato. They've come a long way. I'm feeling all inspired and stuff. 8D

The Give Ups - Blitzkrieg Bop (live)
I believe the evening of this show was bass player Steve's birthday though I could be mistaken. Those familiar with The Give Ups will notice the conspicuous guest singer and band friend of unknown identity.
8-bit Revival - Peanuts Theme (live) Dec. '02
This rare gem of a cover was hoisted upon a loyal gathering at Jag's over half a decade ago. Better late than never I always say.
Detachment Kit (live)
Another show that was moved from Elbo's to my basement, Detachment Kit wouldn't let Dayton go without some good noise. The band was plagued with sound issues, and surely were disappointed at the set-up we had going when they arrived in the basement. Being the professionals they are, they channeled their frustrations into rocking to the benefit of all.
HOOKERSPITWINDEX (live)
Last year Dayton's HSW made some noise at Pearl to the delight of a rowdy if small crowd. I have yet to discover the title of this set-closing track.
8-bit Revival - So Much Time (live)
This was recorded I believe in Dec. '08. It was a chilly weeknight, but that didn't stop the cool kids from coming to Jag's to take in a thunderous set of stir-fried noise from the boys (including original 8-bit bassist Matt R.). I've dusted off the 8mm this was taken from and hope to have some other tasty chunks from that night uploaded soon.
Mind of Asian (live)
My days of throwing house shows are almost certainly behind me, but I'm most proud and often reflect on this one. When Elbo's fell apart a friend brought up the possibility of having insane female thrashers Mind of Asian playing a show in my basement in this crummy house on Burkhardt Ave.
What ensued was hardcore Dayton-basement insanity. Enjoy.
Enon - Pleasure & Privilege
Headlining the second annual Dayton Music Fest was the splendiforous Enon. They put on quite a show that night. To my (and your) dismay the battery on my camcorder went ape-shit on me and I believe this was the only full track I managed to get on tape though there remains about 30 minutes of un-uploaded video from this set.
Swearing At Motorists - Drunk On Monday (live)
The first Dayton Music Fest was quite a success and cemented the event as the premier showcase of Dayton rock. I recorded much of the Swearing @ Motorists set at Elbo's and you may see more of it if I ever get my shit together and get uploadin'.
As you know if you're familiar with much of my video recordings, I'm no cameraman. The crowd noise is very noticeable as the venue was packed to the rafters that night. I spent the entire set standing on a chair in the back corner near the restrooms with my arms stretched up as high as I could get them. Dave busted out quite a long set to my arms' lament and our ears joy. Much of the shakiness resulted from me trying to shift the camera between tired arms. Enjoy.

8-bit Revival - Cross Your Arms (live)
Dayton's own 8-bit revival opening for Enon @ Oregon Express.
